EU-NormCon organiza un panel en el marco de la 2018 ISA Conference

EU-NormCon ha organizado el panel ‘Less Power to Strengthen the Rules of Power? Europe as a Contested Promotor of Multilateralism’ en la ISA Conference ‘Power of Rules and Rule of Power’ que tuvo lugar en San Francisco (California, USA) entre el 4 y el 7 de April. El panel tuvo a Gustavo Macedo (Columbia University) como discussant.

Algunos investigadores de EU-NormCon presentaron sus papers en el panel, como Esther Barbé (IBEI) con “Eroding the Power of Rules? The Impact of the «Women, Peace, and Security» Agenda on the UNSC Reaction Culture and Its Backlash”, Marta Iniguez De Heredia (IBEI) con ‘Contesting Which Norms? Peacebuilding and Patterns of Intervention in Africa’, Martijn Vlaskamp (IBEI) con ‘Transparency as a Guiding Principle for Global Natural Resource Governance: What Role Can Western Actors Still Play?’, y Benjamin Kienzle (King’s College London) con “The Legitimacy of Informal Groups of States and Effective Multilateralism: The Case of the E3 in the Nuclear Negotiations with Iran”. Akaysha Humniski (Carleton University) también participó en el panel.
