Anna Herranz-Surrallés is Associate Professor in International Relations at the Department of Political Science of Maastricht University. She joined Maastricht University in 2012 as a lecturer and Marie Curie researcher. In previous appointments, Anna was Juan de la Cierva post-doctoral researcher at the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (IBEI) and held visiting fellowships at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies (OIES), the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF), Aberystwyth University, the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) and the Department of Political Science of Copenhagen University. Anna obtained her PhD in International Relations and European Integration from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
