Aitor Bonsoms is a post doctoral researcher at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM). He is involved in the research project “Institutional responses to the changing European security order” (inRESPONSE). He has also participated in the research project “Visions and practices of geopolitics in the European Union and its surroundings” (VISIONS). His research areas include discourse analysis, studies on terrorism and counterterrorism, processes of Europeanisation and European integration in the field of security, as well as critical security studies. He holds a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (UPF, UAM, and UC3M) and has a master’s degree in Ideology and Discourse Analysis (University of Essex).
