On July 6th, Eduard Soler i Lecha took part as a trainer in the intensive seminar organised by the College of Europe’s Governance Programme in Bruges.
In the morning session, he introduced participants to the core concepts of European foreign policy, tracing how it has evolved in response to global change and internal EU transformation, and mapping out the EU’s key actors and instruments.
In the afternoon, the session turned to the external dimension of EU domestic policies, followed by a role-play exercise in which participants — representing major and middle powers — identified areas of cooperation and friction with the EU.
