The kick-off meeting for the Observatori’s latest research project, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Universities, was held on 24 January at IBEI. The meeting was chaired by the project’s co-principal investigators, Oriol Costa and Patricia García Durán, with project members participating both in person and online. Also in attendance were the two newest additions to the Observatori network, María Esther Jordana Santiago (Universitat de Girona) and Alejandra Peña González (UAB), who joined their first meeting with the group. The objectives of the COURAGE project were discussed, along with its approach to addressing key questions about the EU’s role in the current fragmentation of the Liberal International Order.
