On Thursday, May 22, at the Ateneo de Madrid, Esther Barbé, the principal investigator of the Observatori, participated in the presentation of the book “The International Society: Ibero-American Perspectives. Essays in Tribute to Celestino del Arenal Moyúa,” published by Fundación Carolina and edited by José Antonio Sanahuja (UCM). The book is a tribute to the retired professor of International Relations, Celestino del Arenal Moyúa, and compiles works on his three main lines of research: the international society, the Ibero-American community, and Spanish foreign policy.
In addition to Esther Barbé, the event featured the book’s editor, José Antonio Sanahuja, Susanne Gratius, professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid, and Hugo Camacho, representing Fundación Carolina. Since the book includes authors from both Spain and Latin America, such as Alberto Van Klaveren and Juan Gabriel Tokatlian, the event was streamed for an audience based in Latin America.
