The PhD candidate, Diego Badell, who’s doctorate was funded by a Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation grant and supervised by EUSOV lead researcher Dr. Esther Barbé, successfully defended his thesis on Friday December 16th at the Universidad Autònoma de Barcelona campus, receiving a grade of ‘Excellent’ from the panel, composed by Dr. Elisabeth Johansson-Nogués (IBEI), Dr. Oriol Costa (UAB) and Dr. Ana Juncos (Bristol University).
