The EU-NormCon researcher, Martijn Vlaskamp, has participated in the 60th ISA Annual Conference that has taken place in Toronto (Canada) between the 27th and the 30th of March 2019. He was part of the panel ‘New Perspectives on Natural Resources and Conflict’ where he presented the paper entitled ‘Doing More Harm than Good: Why Commodity Sanctions Can Make Armed Conflicts More Violent’.
