The EU-NormCon researcher Robert Kissack has presented the paper ‘Accommodation or entrenchment? Exploring EU policy responses in contested international regimes’ at the EUSA EUSA Fifteenth Biennial Conference 2017 that took place between the 4th and the 7th of May in Miami. The article, included in the panel “External Legitimacy of EU Foreign Policy: Issues, Options and Implications (ANTERO)” chaired by Ben Tonra and Federica Bichi, has been cowritten with Oriol Costa, Anna Herranz-Surrallés, Ben Kienzle and Esther Barbé. Heidi Maurer and Karolina Pomorska were the discussants of the paper.
On the other hand, Patricia Garcia-Duran presented two paper co-authored with Johan Eliasson. The first paper was titled ‘Making Policy Make Politics: Deep Integration, Frames and Mobilization’ and the second ‘The European Commission’s Rhetorical Strategies for TTIP’.
