The kick off meeting of EU-NormCon project was celebrated the last Friday 7th of April in the IBEI building in Barcelona. The meeting, chaired by the EU-NormCon PI Esther Barbé, served to present the concept paper ‘Norm contestation on EU foreign policy. Mapping out options for research’ aiming to establish the point of departure of EU-NormCon and conceptualizing norm contestation, its causes and its effects on EU policy. Oriol Costa presented the concept paper. Next, the EU-NormCon researchers discussed the paper and organized the future research within the project.
